Parallel Postulate, Perpendicular Postulate and Transitive Property of Parallel Lines

Perpendicular Postulate-If there is a line and a point not on the line, then there is exactly one line through the point perpendicular to the given line.
Transitive Property of Parallel Lines- If two lines are parallel to the same line, then they are parallel to each other.
Practice Problems- 1. name a set of parallel lines. 2. name a set of perpendicular lines.
1b. The flag has 13 alternating red and white stripes. Each stripe is parallel to the strip bellow it. Explain how the top strip and be parallel to the bottom stripe.
